The Journey Begins
Once upon a time, there was a sweet little girl known as Little Red Riding Hood because of the red cloak she always wore.
One day, her mother asked her to take a basket of goodies to her grandmother, who lived in a cottage in the forest. Excited for the adventure, Little Red Riding Hood set off on her journey.
Meeting the Wolf
As she walked through the forest, Little Red Riding Hood met a cunning wolf. The wolf, pretending to be friendly, asked her where she was going. Innocently, she told him about her grandmother's cottage.
The wolf hatched a plan to get there first and gobble up both Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother.
The Wolf's Trick
The wolf ran ahead to the grandmother's cottage, knocked on the door, and pretended to be Little Red Riding Hood.
The kind grandmother let him in, and the wolf quickly locked her in the closet. He then put on her clothes and cap, and climbed into bed, waiting for Little Red Riding Hood to arrive.
Little Red Riding Hood's Arrival
When Little Red Riding Hood arrived at the cottage, she noticed that her grandmother looked different.
"Grandmother, what big eyes you have!" she said. "All the better to see you with, my dear," replied the wolf. "Grandmother, what big ears you have!" she continued. "All the better to hear you with," said the wolf. "Grandmother, what big teeth you have!" she exclaimed. "All the better to eat you with!" roared the wolf, jumping out of bed.
The Brave Rescue
Just as the wolf was about to pounce, a woodcutter who had been passing by heard the commotion and burst into the cottage.
He chased the wolf away, rescued Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother, and made sure the wolf never bothered them again. Little Red Riding Hood learned to be cautious and always stayed on the safe path.
